Posting these here because I don’t think people have seen enough of our cancun trip. Hahaha not.
Traveling is my favorite way to spend money! I’d eat cup of noodles for a year just so I could go on a vacay.
Cancun was so fun but way different than the last time we were there (honeymoon) haha. Different in good and bad ways. I kept wondering, what exactly did we do last time we were here? Lay like fat logs and eat guacamole? The answer is yes. I think that is exactly what we did, and it was awesome in a different kind of way. This time was fun because we got to experience our favorite place with our favorite boys. Which for a 2 year old felt quite emotional at times, and for an 8 month old he didn’t know the difference. haha He was just wondering when he was going to get a taste of his next (virgin) pina.
The flight down was traumatizing.
Wells has the biggest case of FOMO. It’s all fun and games until the fasten seat belt sign comes on and Mr. busy bod has no place to go. Only the 12 inches back and forth on your lap. Poor dude! Sonny had headphones on while he watched movies, so anytime he would talk or laugh it was loud, like really loud.
Some of Sonny’s favorite things: the slide, the huge plastic chess game, the food truck with curly fries, the “white” ice cream (coconut flavor – “I wanna white one, A WHITE ONE” – is what he would say), his marching on the brick wall, the “green soda” (7up) and the bus. He was so obsessed with the bus! It may have been his favorite part haha kids. Some of Wellsy’s favs were: the sand, being worn in the ergo, splashing in the pool, any new taste of food we offered him, all the peeps that would smile and talk to him, AND PINA COLADAS!!
The food was amaze and the people were amaze. Cancun is our favorite hands down. I love it and want some more of it.
p.s. I’m totally going to regret all of this grain one day but for now.. I’m obsessed
